Bulb medusae 'Orchidglade' - Orchid Board

Ok, I have your attention. I have been looking for this variety and have not been able to find anyone who offers it for sale. I have the white medusae and would love to have the spotted one and any other varieties I could find. Does anyone know where I can find one or have a division they would like to part with?

Well, Jonada, you must be asking because of the pictures I've posted recently. It seems this plant is in major demand. I have an acquaintance who wants one of my plants.... it is a slow grower so when my plants get large enough I'll divide and trade but it will be some time before this will happen.

Yes, I think that your thread was bumped up lately. I have been looking since it was first posted and haven't found anything. I would appreciate it if you let me know whenever you do divide and we will try to work something out.

Hi Jonada, I have a spotty medusae and would like to find a whiter one at some point. Mine is a division from my Dad's large one, I think it's a clone called 'Miami' that received a CCM sometime back in the 80s. If you have a division of yours to trade I could probably get you a 3-4 bulb piece of my spotted one. If you don't have one to trade I'll send you a piece for the price of postage. PM me if you're interested, though based on your location I think we might want to wait until late spring to ship tropical orchids...
