Bulbpohyllum bicolor
My first Bulbophyllum to flower. It's Bulb bicolor 'A-doribil' x Bulbophyllum bicolor 'Cream'
I was waiting for the wind to die down before taking the shot and noticed that the lip is on a flexible hinge and it looked as if it were laughing at me!

How cool, an orchid with a sense of humor. I love the colors.

Thanks. I didn't change anything since I got it about a year ago. I has charcoal bark mix with a little sphagnum moss on top.It is outside and I water it 3 to 5 times a week (depending on weather) with a very weak MSU fert. for pure water.

Thats great looking flhiker, I guess its B. bicolour season. Mine came out all damaged from aphids. Let us know when it whithers, I have a feeling mine dropped its flowers really quickly because of the aphid damage it had.

Well they must not be long lasting. Mine died back on day 9. Even the one that opened a day later.

I think mine lasted only 1 week, 5-7 days, no more. Thanks for the info!
