Bulbophyllums

Ok, my Bulbophyllum has a mature new growth. The new growth matured about 1 or 2 months ago. Given excellent conditions, when and how should I expect a bloom? From where do the flower spikes emerge, and how long after the new growth matures? Thanks.
P.S. for example, Im, in this case, talking specifically about Bulbophyllum dearei.

Update, I just found a new growth, half way to maturity, on my Bulbophyllum dearei. at least its not dieing!!! SO does this mean I should forget about any blooms from the last growth?

Tin, I don't have but new experiences with Bulbos, but mine just started growing new growths. I have read that they are very slow growing, very slow to flower and love shade and wet conditions. I was ready to pitch mine due to inactivity (thinking them too wet) but with this new growth, I am ready to order more. I really like these plants and they seem to like the Orchidarium a lot.

My Bulbo sumatranum seems to love the viv environment too, only two weeks after remounting it shows two new growths. I must say I'm really curious about blooming too.

I'm giving mine, in the tank humid, wet and shady conditions. But one of the new growths is growing in the direction of light. Actually the newest of the new growths is going in a completely different direction as the older new growth. WHich I think is cool!!!! I saw a Bulbophyllum lobbii at the orchid show this weekend. I sooooo want one!!! And I saw a Cirrohpetalum longissima. !!!!!!!! Too expensive for me though

Sounds like mine. One new growth in the "obvious" spot, where I would expect to see one. The other one coming from between older bulbs and it's shaded by a leaf. Taking every option into consideration I guess. I might go for lobbii too some time soon.
