Bulbophyllum cernuum
I got this as a division, a month ago, from J&L Orchids in Connecticut when I stopped by on my way back from Boston. Very helpful folks there, friendly and informative, with a great selection. The mother plant was an impressive little clump with a cloud of flowers surrounding it. Mounted the division on a chunk of tree fern, and to my surprise it's already blooming. Mini-miniature, individual blooms barely 3/4" across.
Thanks for looking!

Yeah, kind of a roundabout way home. But any "diversion" is worth it if there are 'chids to be had.

I used to go to Syracuse frequently and visit family over by Le Moyne College, but that was very long ago... and a different life. Used to go out to Chittenango Falls all the time....

Very nice!! Very nice! Love these bulbos with short petals. What conditions are you giving it? The usual bulbo conditions?

Yep, totally standard Bulbo conditions. It's about 10" below the lights (T5 bulbs), mounted on a chunk of tree fern with some sphagnum under the roots. Gets misted daily, fed weakly weekly. The roots are already digging right into the mount. LOVE this little guy; already one of my favorite Bulbos.
