Question Cirrhopetalum dentiferum

I think my Cirr dentiferum is working on a spike but I'm not sure.

I will post a picture tonight.

My question is this: Is it better to mount this species so the growth and spikes can move downward OR does it really matter?

I was going to try semi-hydro until I saw the growth habit.

Also I'm wondering if it will do okay mounted with S. Moss OR does it need more of an orchid mix?

I don't have any experience with the bulbos.

My goal will be to show the orchid as well as enjoy it so I need to make sure I mount/pot it to the best flowering advantage.

This is what your flower should look like... it's going to be a real beauty!!!!! I currently grow my Cirr Elizabeth Ann in bark and it does very well. It has a similar growing pattern as yours with the pseudobulbs growing out inline and sometimes branching. I have 2 pots of this plant, one of which is going to be divided into 4 plants in the spring and I'd like to sell some of them... cheap! My other portion is getting large and I think I might try to hang it on a piece of bark with sphagnum. I know these and the Bulbos do very nicely on bark/moss.... you just have to keep after them so they don't dry out too much from what I've read.

Did anything come of it?
