Thank you - I edited the post but couldn't fix the title. Thanks!

They haven't been given anything but hose water (hard water) since mid-spring. Before that they were getting fertalized once a week.

I actually thought the Medusa was dying because the bulbs were shriveling then they suddenly put out spikes and bloomed. Maybe you are getting new growth because you are fertilizing them too often?

I was scared to death to put them in the area of the greenhouse I did - it is drier, sunnier, and warmer than bulbos/cirrhos are supposed to like but they just love it there. Yeah, Darwin-gardening.

Oh, and I haven't smelled anything bad there but I have a couple of Oncidiums in bloom that may be compensating.

Love, Love, Love the Medusa!! Your Buckleberry is fantastic! Seems like you are on to something with your Darwinian gardening!

Roly, maybe you need some frogs and lizards to poo on your Medusa.

OK, I'm jealous now...not really...well, a little but cheerleader to your great growing nonetheless! Your medusae looks great. I am really looking forward to mine blooming more than my other Bulbos. After seeing yours, I'm losing patience. I'm wondering if that cold spell you had is what encouraged blooming, perhaps? Anyway, they all look fantastic. I'm now going to go onto the patio to have a talk with my lazy Bulbos.

Great growing. Enjoy!

Very nice. Both of them. Nice colour on the bulbo.
