Gold3nku5h, I am not trying to be rude, but I think you need to get yourself a book and study a little bit about orchid culture and... Well, I wish I have time to answer all your questions or I wish you ask all of your questions all at once.

Im not sure if you know this, but most books published about orchids, dont really give specifics. They dont even really tell about culture, besides the fact that they may be cold to warm growing epiphitic orchids that need dappled shade. Now that can mean anything depending on where its comming from, which i believe it took you longer to read this than to simply answer my question of about 3 inches. But thanks for wasting your time.

Gees! Who is going to tell you all of that! Do you want to know how many drops of water that plant will need to survive? oc I can answer your last question in a second but I am afraid you might ask more again and again. I don't mind answering good questions on culture but I sure don't have time to answer all your newbie questions while you can find out the answers to your " basic" orchid questions on your own through good books or google. Take a baby step if you really want to learn how to walk!

LOL!
About time to do your homework! Good for you, kido! Maybe someday I will give you some good insight when I think you are student material.
