So thats a bulb. menghaiense, i have a bulb. moniliforme, and they look alot alike. mine dont have any actual leaves, unless its from a new psuedobulb. Your also looks a little bigger bulb-wise. Where did you get it?

I could not find any info about bulbo menghaiense but I agree with Gold that the plant growth really does look like bulbo moniliforme. Flower is a little different but that could potentially be culture..not sure

actually, now that i look at it, again, i think they are the same thing, they probably just have 2 names or something, because they both have 3 petals, or 2 petals and a sepal or whatever.

FWIW, Bulbo. menghaiense (Tsi) is an accepted species. It is not a syn. of Bulbo. moniliforme. Good-Old-Times' plant is correctly labeled.
