Bulbo. Louis Sanders
I (almost) want to say that this is one, ugly plant but I'm most intrigued by it's bizarre and motley looks. This one recently lost it's largest leaf and suspected it wasn't doing too well. Last week, I noticed some strange, twisted growth appearing from one of the bulbs and didn't think too much about it until this evening when I realized, it's in spike. I'm a little slow sometimes.
This is one strange looking bud and I love it! I'll post pics when it blooms.

That bud looks really cool at the end. It looks like it is twisted! So cool! Can't wait to see it open.

I've seen so many pics of Bulbo Louis Sanders....all different so, I'm not quite sure if this is a real L.S., the tag says it is and I bought it from a reliable grower but, who knows?
This one has me totally stumped. It's the first blooming and I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at. Don't know if there's more to open on this one plus, there's another growth (bud?) coming from the same inflorencense...I thought it would open at once if it is part of one growth and, isn't one flower per inflorescence expected on this? Does anyone know?

Sandy,
I can't help with your questions (I'm new to bulbos myself), but I do want to say that I appreciate your updated photos. This guy is way cool! Thanks!
