Agreed, Sandy! I can't be of much help on the I.D. but he sure is awesome! Is he staying that green, or has the color changed any? Love that green/purple combo.

I thought "he" was a "she" Yvan because those fuzzy things on the ends, remind me of a cheerleader However, at first, I thought she looked more like a he.

He-she is still green and still has me guessing. I'll post updated pics when he-she makes up it's mind...or doesn't!

This one has me totally stumped. It's the first blooming and I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at. Don't know if there's more to open on this one plus, there's another growth (bud?) coming from the same inflorencense...I thought it would open at once if it is part of one growth and, isn't one flower per inflorescence expected on this? Hi Sandy, great looking bulbo you got there . I have a Cirr Santa Claus and it bloomed 2 flowers per infloresence. Some bulbos are like that. Mine did sorta open at the same time though

Sandy, I do believe that the correct name for this hybrid is Mastiphyllum Louis Sander which is - Bulbophyllum longissimum x Mastigion ornatissimum. I just saw it in Bulbophyllums and Their Allies A Growers Guide by Emily Siegerist 2001.
