I too, grow all my Bulbo's (just bought my 15th one, today) in equal amounts of spagh/tree fern fibers/perlite, all in shallow Vanda baskets as well, except one which is in a tree fern pot that I have to pin down as it's growing all over the place. The roots love the tree fern. I used to mist the roots inbetween waterings but that stopped when I began noticing some leaves coming off the bulbs.

Oooh, good to know! I've been misting between waterings occasionally. Sounds like I should maybe put a stop to that.

Hi Stephen,

I just thought that I'd chime in to say how interestingly beautiful I think this bloom is...and I like Tindo's description. Thanks for sharing with us.
