I agree it's cute looking, espcially with those speckles on it. But it is scary, it looks like it has a fang and is waiting for a finger to get to close to nab it!
This is also an entirely new genus for me. I had heard of Trias before, but never knew what they looked like.

Very cool! Thanks, Tom. It is a little guy! I'll have to look into these guys more. Same or similar culture as for Bulbos?

Yvan, these are part of the Bulbo tribe so, yes, same culture.

Yvan, you beat me to it. I was going to ask if it is a member of the bulbo tribe. Tom, I sure like it. - Marilyn

I grow this in my basement area under lights given intermediate conditions (sometimes in the winter it is a little cooler). I water it enough to keep it moist all day but by the time the lights go out it is dry until the morning when the lights come back on again.

It is an extremely slow grower as it only put out 1 new growth in over a year. This is the first time it has flowered for me and there are 1 or 2 more buds coming no as well

Hope this helps

You know it reminds me of the lips from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Hehe.
