Tindomul, I'm from Fresh Meadows, ahhh, the good old days.
If you can get in the habit of always adding fert. to your water (and storing the unused water for the next time), you'll probably get better results. I only say this, not from experience but, from everything I've read about Bulbos...they're heavy feeders. I too, am feeling my way with these. Time will tell!

Thanks Suzanne but I still do not see (from the pictures of Daisy Chain) how it (DC) differs from pictures and plants in the flesh of Bulbophyllym flabelloveneris (lepidum). If you have digital photos of both please won't you post them so that I can see the difference(s). Many thanks in advance.

Sorry...I don't have Daisy Chain or either of it's parents
Maybe the other parent doesn't change the "look" of the plant but it might change the size of it?

My outdated tag said the parents for Cirrhopetalum Daisy Chain are:
Cirr. makoyanum
Cirr. amesianum

Good information to have gmdiaz, thanks. I recently purchased another Daisy Chain but when it arrived, the tag said Cirr. makoyanum. It had bloomed en route, never took a pic. but it'll be interesting to see if it looked identical to this one, coming.

Hey, is it just my browser or do I see red dust on the leaves on that last pic?
