Bulb. Daisy Chain
I bought this as a bare root division from Vanessa back in May. I think it must like me. Look what it did! There is another spike emerging from the other side of the same bulb that's not visible in the picture.
Question for you Bulbo growers....is Cirrhopetalum gone as a genus, or are there some still classified as Cirr? As I was looking though some books and online it looks like most if not all got reclassified as Bulbos. True?

Great job, Terri...way to go!!!
Mine just ended it's blooming...I purchased it with 4 spikes. It was really cool!
I believe these plants have been reclassified. At least that's what I noticed in doing my own research as well.

Thanks guys. It's a cute little thing isn't it? It's an easy keeper. I'm growing it warm/intermediate under T5s. It gets watered twice a week, once with MSU 125ppm. It's in fine CHC mix. Seems to be loving life right now. It's even kicking out a new growth. I forsee more Bulbos in my future.

Don't know the answer either but I found and bought this same plant about 2 months ago while doing a Bulbo search for the Daisy Chain and the tag read, Cirrhopetalum.
It's fantastic! After seeing yours, I'm really looking forward to mine blooming!
Great growing and it's thanked you well!

I think Cirrhos are still a genus in their own right, just that some that were thought to be Cirrhos are now Bulbos. Great looking bloom. Congrats. I like the colors. How is it doing now in days?
