Very awesome growing, Gwen! I have this one and now realize that my new growth is a PB and not a spike.
I asked in another post if anyone knows how to apply blood meal to these as I read they like it in the spring. Biker or Gwen, have either of you used this?????
I love this site! I learn so much from all of you! Thanks!

Hiya Kiki!

No, I haven't used the blood meal but I am thinking that the MSU fertilizer has pretty much all it needs.

I love this site too!

Fabulous, gmdiaz! That's a spike all right and just wait till it blooms. The Buckleberry is phenomenal and just one flower, puts on a show. Just wait till the plant gets multiple blooms! I too, am growing all my Bulbos/Cirrhopetalums in sphag and tree fern fibers, equal parts and recently have been adding perlite to the mix.

Congratulations and please post pics when it blooms. BTW, the blooms don't last but a few days so, enjoy them!

LinhT, your plant is gorgeous!

Wow, nice. I hope to see your bloom soon. I need to get one of these.
