I really enjoy growing Bulbos but I have yet to get any blooms. I've read everything thing from too little light to too much light. Any thoughts on what i'm doing wrong. The growth is fine, but no sign of spikes.

Perhaps they aren't old enough yet?

How are you taking care of them? Light? Watering? Temperatures? Fertilizer?

they were sold from a extremely reliable dealer who sold them as blooming size. Its just I've read so many contradictory cultural differences. High light,shade,medium light. I keep them watered well, under medium light to shade. They are growing new pseudobulbs and appear very healthy.

Which ones do you have? All Bulbos aren't the same... it is a huge genus, with species from widely ranging conditions. Any generalization at the genus level is going to be wrong for some of them.

Ask the vendor how to make them bloom.

Another question I'd have is, how long have you been growing them? Many have a once-a-year blooming peried like many orchids. (Others can bloom more often, not all the same) So they might just need a chance to settle in to their new home.

(As with orchids in general, there are exceptions to every general statement... he grows the big, spectacular warm-growing ones. I have several species, from higher elevations, that are very happy mounted - so they dry out during the day though are watered daily - and experience chilly nights.)
