I got this from Bill Thoms a few years ago, right before he sold his collection to KS. I believe this was his cross, which was colchicine-treated, and he picked out this as having, as he said, "the look". Thick leaves, big plant, possibly 4N...

First time I bloomed it I thought the fragrance was a nice spicy. This year I stuck my nose in there and thought it smelled like spicy cat piss. (I don't have cats, they don't like me, and vice versa, but this is what I imagine their pee to smell like).

It is a nice flower, though, and, very fortunately, with the unpleasant smell, it doesn't perfume the entire room.
