Sweet. That’s a good description of my lath house light on the bright side and I grow this one hanging right on the margin between the bright side and where it starts to get the shade from the house.
Is your indoors or greenhouse?

It did best when I grew outside in Kentucky. Hot humid rainy summers. And I had it hanging just where you said, at the halfway point where 40% shade met 85% shade. Now i have it in my recently constructed grow tent in my apartment. Here's the blooms two different years after spending the summer outside. Hopefully I get a decent display this year, the spikes are still small.

Can't think of enuf superlatives. I remember these fotos of yours with many other lush plants sharing that gorgeous sunroom. But will the new "big top" tent ever be able to become a hangar to show off the behemoth?

This post is actually disappointing me a little bit... I was thinking to get one of those, but I see that they are way too big for my orchidarium. Jealous! You guys have amazing plants!!

Well, that’s not the intent, plum...sorry but we will keep the pics coming while we can
These don’t last very long. You probably wouldn’t like it any ways

I'm glad I saw how big they get! I was actually thinking to order this week, so helped me out. When I do general internet searches it's so hard to tell what the actual size is, even with good descriptions of the plant.
I got a Cischweinfia rostrata recently and it bloomed right away. Super cute flowers, but so much tinier than they looked online and only lasted a few days. Nice to see pics with something for size reference.
I suppose I should just start asking for these specifics on here before I buy anything

Asking before you buy takes like half the fun out of raising orchids lol
