The plant looks healthy to me, also, and I agree with Roberta that you should mist that one aerial root -- and any others that start to grow. I mist my Phals' aerial roots regularly, sometimes even in between watering, depending on whether my indoor humidity is especially low, as it usually is in the winter. With any luck, yours will soon start putting out lots of new roots, both inside and outside the pot.

One thing I'm curious about is why you decided to put it inside three stacked plastic pots. As shown in the pictures, the slots in each pot are staggered in such a way that the openings are almost completely blocked, which seems like it could have the unintended consequence of defeating the purpose of the slots and holes. With that large chunky bark, I don't think you need to worry too much about it staying too wet, but I would still want a little more air flow, even if it meant I had to water more often.

Smile Seaweed, proper amount of light, and humidity.

everyone. This is my very first post. I've been reading this forum for less than one year and have learned a lot. I have a mini Phalaenopsis that lost all her roots when I repotted it. The problem was that I wasn't experienced. I started listening to "Miss orchid girl" on Youtube to learn more about orchids. I wish I asked for advice here. She advises to spray the roots of orchids with Hydrogen Peroxide before repotting into a fresh mix. I followed her advice and as a result, Hydrogen Peroxide killed all the roots. I felt so guilty and it was painful for me to see my baby orchid struggling. The orchid has survived and is thriving now. I think that the biggest contributor of its recovery was Organic Seaweed plant food by Neptune Harvest. it is made of Ascophyllum nodosum, which is known as Norwegian Kelp. I agree with everyone that seaweed stimulates root growth. Another important aspect that I would like to mention is the proper amount of light. I live in Chicago. Since winter days are gloomy, my orchids don't get enough sunlight. In order to help them, I've decided to buy ACKE LED Full Spectrum Grow Lights (12W). I can tell that these lights help tremendously with new root growth! It has been only 7 days and I already see two new roots on my mini phal. Also, I provide the required amount of humidity, which is at least 50%. I hope your Phal will make it. It has enough healthy leaves to support the plant during recovery. I want to thank everyone for this wonderful forum .
