Two examples. Both these started out with one very small root. And this is about four months later. Definitely requires patience.

I'm doing them just to fool around and see if I can.

That’s definitely something I can try! Picture 3 is a picture of the orchid today and the black spot is on the 1 small leaf the orchid came with. I thought the black spot was a sunburn since it developed since I got the orchid. Could definitely be rot though. The other big leaf just fell off so now only the small leaf remains. There’s no black around the small leaf that I can see, but the crown is definitely dark. I should leave the crown alone though right?
