What’s that in my new dendrobium golden gate sunrise

My husband bought me this new dendrobium. Does it look healthy to you?. Looking at the medium I noticed some white little things maybe eggs? What do you suggest I do with this plant? Thanks

It looks fungal to me; probably something feeding on the bark. Probably not a threat to the orchid, but it may signal that a repot is due. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
