Purchasing Orchids on line

..Lots of Questions today.....Has any one purchased orchids from Andy's Orchids, in California, on line. If so, are his orchids good and are his prices fair. I'm looking to buy from him either today or tomorrow , so I would appreciate some help and information on him, as soon as possible!!!!...Zoren...

I don't need to purchase on line from Andy because I live about an hour's drive from there, and go to the nursery several times a year as well as seeing him at shows. (I probably have a few hundred "Andy plants") His plants are excellent. Usually well established on their mounts. Excellent survival rate. (And I push the envelope, being a "what can I get away with?" grower...) You might find cheaper but you won't find better. He is offering a Labor Day deal, so this is a good time. Much what he sells is on line, so from what I can tell, packaging is done well. Also, if there is something in particular that you're looking for that you don't see, ask... only a small fraction of available species are on the website. I'm just a satisfied customer, no other connection.

Don't be surprised if the phone is unattended... it often is (especially on weekends), do leave a message. But also email - if one form of communication doesn't work try another. Any online orders will probably get picked up tomorrow.

You can also go to his website at andysorchids.com to order. Great plants, great prices, mounted well, great customer service. If he doesn't have something listed, ask via email or phone, he may have one or two that he's willing to sell despite not having enough to list them. That's how I got my L. astrophora.
