!!! Good morning all, I have a quick question to all members. After Orchids have started blooming should I bring them into my living room to admire or should they be left were they were before blooming. In my case '..from my Florida room to my living room. Are there advantages or disadvantages in moving them. Currently I have a Den. (unknown); Phal. Cornu Cervi 'red form and a Phal. Bellina in bloom, (see attached). Well I'll check back later for some suggestions. I have to water my plants: waving...Zoren.......

Being you in Florida, do you plan to keep them out always?
There's no problem to bring them in just to admire the flowers.
Otherwisr I advisr to take some cautions to avoid bringing pests inside.

I grow about 90% outside, but bring them in when they bloom to enjoy them. A few may have their bloom time shortened a little (I try to resist bringing them in until they are fully opened, that helps) but most aren't bothered at all. When flowers fade or for the really long-lasting ones when I need room, they go back out to their regular place and are fine.

I nearly always move my blooming plants to spots where I can enjoy them better. I generally wait until most of the blooms are open, and then move them to the kitchen table and various places around the living room. Even the long blooming plants (like Phals) don't mind being in a darker spot for 2 months. Once the blooms are done or nearly done they go back to the racks and I rotate with any new bloomers I may have.

IMO, move them to where they will be enjoyed the most.

Just make sure the flowers have opened its blooms before you move it. Some orchid buds blast and wither when you move them before it opens. I like to put my orchid flowers as center pieces for my dining table. Then I put them back on its original place to grow happy and healthy....

I like putting them in the living room near the window that gets indirect sunlight.
