Default Orchid broke into half

My orchid just have a new stem, about 7cm Long. Not sure if it’s called a stem but the leaves haven’t open yet. It broke into half. Any idea if it can regrow? How do I upload a picture here?

I think that is a Dendrobium. The part in the picture which broke off won't continue to grow, but the rest of the plant will be fine. The part of that cane which is still attached to the plant will go ahead and mature, although it will be stumpy (think of a dog with a cropped tail lol). New canes will grow from the base of the one which broke. If that is a Phal-type Dendrobium, you may not get any blooms from that cane, as that type blooms only from the end of the cane. If it is a Nobile-type Dendrobium, you may still get some blooms from lower down on the cane.

I know this is disappointing and frustrating, but this won't set the plant back at all. It will continue on growing like nothing ever happened.
