"Happy sap"--perfectly normal on a healthy plant. You can rinse with water if it bothers you; the plant won't care one way or the other.

Some of my orchids had happy sap or honeydew on the spikes near the flowers. I didn't remove them because there's a risk of damaging the blooms.

When the orchids I grow outside produce it on their spikes, the hummingbirds methodically drink it all off :-)
