Default Mature Lycaste Sun Orientation

I have a large Lycaste that was given to me.
I live at 700 elevation in Hilo Hawaii and wanted to know a little bit more about bulp/plantar orientation.

My attached photo shows the current orientation, facing eastern morning sun, of my potted Lycaste. There are new bulbs and growth happening in the empty space of the pot.

My question is:
Should I orient the plant any differently to encourage the bulbs to fill the empty space OR will the plant naturally grow into those blank areas?

It looks happy! If it were me, I would turn it 180 degrees to enjoy the flower. The new growth will develop from the bulbs, generally from the recently matured ones. Rotating the pot probably wont have the affect on the plant you're hoping (having new growths filling in the empty area).

Your plant looks like it has enough room for this year's growth, but you will probably want to pot it up next year so the new growths will stay in the pot. You can remove any dead/dry bulbs at that time and help orient the plant's growing direction at that time.

Others on the forum may have more specific details on growing Lycaste, I only have a couple and am no expert.
