Default Alternative to window sills keeping orchids

Hi All,
As my kitchen window sills are full of orchids, has anyone any suggestions for somewhere else to site them. We have blinds on the other windows and the sills aren't deep enough to hold a pot and the blind.

I've got some baby cattlyas in small plastic pots where I've glued a penny to the wall and magnets to the pot. That works well and they don't get full sun.
Many thanks

Put a chair or table in front of a window and put orchids on the chair or table.

Or maybe you could put some string that goes across the room and hang mounted orchids or hang pots on the string.

Are the blinds on the other windows closed all the time or are they open during the day? I use bakers racks in front of my best exposure windows, but have to close the blinds during the brightest part of the day.

The blinds do get closed when it's bright and and at night.

Your pennies are not made of copper?

Interesting. I would think anything ferromagnetic would rust. US pennies have a zinc core with a tiny film of copper over them.

An alternative to windowsills: shelving units and grow lights. Lights: Technical Data - SunBlaster Lighting

No, a US penny will not attract the force.

Right. Neither zinc nor copper is ferromagnetic.
