meiracyllium - how do I grow this?

Hi, its been awhile since I've been on here.
I was recently given a piece of Meiracyllium. The grower who gave it to me grows it in his greenhouse. I don't have a greenhouse and all of my orchids spend the summer outdoors on my north facing porch which gets a good watering twice a day with irrigation (Columbia River) water. They all love this and bloom beautifully when they come back in for the season.
Back to the meiracyllium. I've looked online and found that its both a hot to cool growing lythophyte or epiphyte. So, do I mount it on wood or a piece of granite? With moss or without moss? How hot or how cool can it go? Does it need to stay moist or dry out? Can someone please give me some specifics? Thanks!

Dry out between waterings.

(60 F - 95 F)

Better to mount on wood for ease of care.

No moss over the roots. Maybe under the roots if it is too dry up there.

Moderately bright indirect light to bright indirect light.

Wood is definitely a better mount than granite or other rock... Most lithophytes don't so much grow roots ON rocks as much as they go down into the detritus in the cracks of rocks (where it is also cooler and likely to have some moisture). If they get big they may extend roots onto the rock surface but that's not where they start.

I have Meiracyllium trinasutum, mounted on fern bark and growing in a tabletop greenhouse. It likes to dry between waterings and grows exactly as Phillip stated. The flowers are beautiful and smell like cinnamon, I love the plant. I’ve had it for about 4 years and it has grown well practically covers it’s small mount.

Thanks for the info. I have a piece of tree fern so I guess I'll use that. With moss under the roots as I do live in a desert. Thanks for the temp info as well. I keep a sprinkler on low to keep the concrete of the front porch wet to keep up the humidity in the summer as well as keep temps lower. As its the front porch and its facing north, I can move plants to get bright indirect light or only morning or evening sun.
