Phal Flowering issues

So i bought this Phal venosa "in spike" on ebay over a month back. Thus far the spike hasn't grown since i purchased it. What could i be doing wrong and how can i make it grow? The plant looks healthy overall.

It's possible your not doing anything at all wrong. Happens all the time.

Oftentimes spikes will stall when there is a change in environment, especially when going from say a greenhouse to in-home growing.

Just give it proper growing conditions and the spike will usually restart all on it's own or produce a new one all together.

I've had venosa spikes sit there for over a year doing nothing and then they decide to grow and bloom. Dominic don't think there is anything unusual about it.
