Lights Question

I place my phals in the kitchen and we switch off the lightings when nobody uses the kitchen. When we need to use the kitchen we will switch on the lights again.

Will this lights on and lights off cause a shock to the phals?

Flowering can be induced in Phals by increasing night length, and by dropping average temperature. Depending on how bright are your kitchen lights, it is possible there would be an effect.

My phals are in my kitchen. The question might be, at what time are the lights off for the night? How long is their total darkness period?

We usually off after 9pm. Total darkness is about 10 hours.
