Hello everyone!! I'm attaching some pictures of a new growth that I noticed on my orchid Phal today. I'm not 100% sure if it's a spike or root. I'm leaning more towards a spike but would love your opinions! Thanks!!!

It's in the right location for a spike, but the nubbin is so well hidden that it's hard to have a good look at it in the photos. If it looks round then it's likely a root. If it's a bit flat and mitten shaped then it's a spike.
