Question Could it be... a SPIKE??

I found this on one of my NoID Vanda-like orchids. Is it a spike???

From that pic my best guess is a root. A better pic would certainly help.

Yeap, a spike! The pointy tip indicates that, you can already observe the individual bracts.

Or a keiki, but I think you would prefer a spike.

To me, it looks like a spike but it will be easier to determine as it grows. I hope it is a spike.
