Hello all. I am new to this forum as I am to orchids. I was just wondering if it is possible to encorage my Dendrobium Orchid to form a keiki.

Any ideas?

Over-fertilizing and not enough sun usually lead to the production of keikis. It's not necessarily something you should be trying to do

In my opinion, you should give the plant the correct care to get it to bloom...the keikis will come when they're ready

Referring to Susanne's post, in this case keikies are a sign that you're not doing something right for the plant.

What you should be looking for is the growth of new pseudobulbs ("canes"), so the plant colony gets bigger and stronger.
