Plants grown from seed are called seedlings. You can further modify the term with descriptions such as "just out of flask" or "not blooming size" or "near blooming size."

This distinguishes from mediclones, which can be as tiny as small seedlings, and plants from divisions.

Wow, that seller REALLY botched that shipping! You definitely need to contact them and get your money back. Shipping a wet plant like that is inexcusable. I doubt you'll get blooms on the next growth, but maybe the subsequent growth.

Please post an update regarding the seller's response your refund request.

Clowesia should be just now starting to push roots and new growth. If it was too wet, new growth may have rotted, but as long as there is even one firm pseudobulb, it will probably eventually be fine. These things can even stay dormant for an extra year... Pot it up, and then don't water until you see new roots at least 3 inches long, and new growth starting to open out (not when it is tubular and so has place to trap water which will rot it)

I have purchased from Ooi Leng Sun before. The owner’s name is Ben. I think he can work with you on your recent purchase.

As for your Stanhopea and Coryanthes, they share a similar trait as the Clowesia after growing out of the protocorm stage. They too resemble miniature one leafed vines and look nothing like the adult phase of the plant. Morphologically speaking, if nobody told you, and if you weren’t already aware, you probably would’ve thought the adult versions of Coryanthes or Stanhopea were completely different plants from their seedling versions.
