I don’t want to say anything just yet. Orchids have a tendency to surprise you when you least expect it. BUT, those two roots are definitely growing. AND I see two more little knobs forming ( fingers crossed another two coming up soon). And the leaf is definitely growing and another one coming too. So I am very optimistic (again, fingers crossed). I am learning as I go too. Will keep you updated on progress

The water in the vase is not that warm, it’s room temperature. So it was around upper 60’s these last three weeks. I don’t think there is increased humidity around the orchid to promote those roots to grow because those roots are in the water. I guess water itself is promoting root growth. At least that’s what I see in this case
