Decided to branch out a try a Neofinetia falcata hybrid that I picked up a show last fall. Since then there was a repot and it has sat there in the pot since. There is one strong root that is actively growing but that plant has not thrown off any roots/leaves since.
Is a winter slowdown/dormancy a thing with these guys?
Neo falcata usually doesn't do much growing in the winter, and for most people their plants are just starting to show signs of activity. Mine (I have 7) did nothing all winter, and I'm now seeing new roots and growths. The tiny growths were already visible before winter, but seemed to have gone dormant and are now starting to grow.
