MOS show and sale pick ups
![MOS show and sale pick ups-img_4267-jpg](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/attachment.php?attachmentid=131699&thumb=1&d=1520903897&s=ceda057b7dc048e22f58018158883459)
1. Alcra. Donald halliday 'smile eri'
2. Dendrobium aberrans
3. Bulbophyllum Falcatum ( I did not take a pic but it has three spikes and three bulbs)
I have to admit that my favorite purchase out of the three is the Dendrobium aberrans. I can stare at it all day. It was a fun experience and I was able to attend the judging of the plants and the displays a day prior to opening to the public.

Was that the show at Timonium? I was there as well. The ribbon winners were incredible! I bought 2 orchids there as well.

Yes I was there! I was clerking last Thursday and put the 3rd place ribbons on the winners per category. I bought two plants that day as well and came back Saturday and purchased another plant. It was a decent show! lots of happy and friendly people. What orchids did you get?

A Miltoniopsis from a guy from Carney (Little Greenhouse?) and a Cattleya from the same man. We were there Sunday the 11th, right before closing. Did you see the bare-root (I think it was a Vanda) with the 5 foot roots? incredible

they are from town. I have been to their greenhouse twice and bought several plants from him. cool stuff.
Yes I saw that plant from the exhibit. The plant is a specimen cattleya. If we are talking about the same thing.

Ok...yes, that is the plant. I had a blast. My first exhibit/sale. The gentleman was super helpful. I'll post when they bloom...they are in bud stage.

I have that same Aliceara, and I love it. I posted a picture of it on here not too long ago. The purple edges on yours are darker than they are on mine, probably because I can't keep mine very cool. Did you notice that it is fragrant? I didn't notice a fragrance when I bought it last year, but I definitely can smell it this year.

I have never seen an aberrans that large for sale, congrats.
I have two that I haven't rebloomed in years (also got horribly neglected a couple of years ago). Slowly changing variables but I suspect I don't lower the temps enough in fall/winter.
Keep us updated on your culture.

I don't detect a scent on mine and I've tried smelling it on different times of the day. none. I have been interested in getting this plant online since the time I saw it but can't remember why I didn't buy it. I don't have the best eyesight but when I saw it at the show sticking out and the only one of that kind for sale, no time for second thoughts!
