Default masdevallia coccinea, lost all roots due to overwatering.

Hello you orchid-savvy folk, my masd flowered the first year I had it but has not grown since. I have taken it out of the pot to find all roots sodden, no live ones at all. Is it possible that it could grow new ones if I repot it in a smaller pot with dry bark? When I learned that they need plenty of water in our hot summers I watered it twice a week. That should have been ok, right? Appreciate any help to maybe salvaging this orchid. The 10 leaves seem to be ok. Thanku.

Use the Search feature in the top maroon menu to look for information on Masdies. Some hate heat, including this one, which is why I don't try to grow them. It is possible to reroot them if other conditions are appropriate.
