Hydrogen peroxide on phal bark mix!!
It seems like I'm determined to do the wrong thing. Several weeks ago I read about using hydrogen peroxide to get rid of fungus knats on plants. I don't by any means have a big infestation, but I have seen them around some of my regular house plants. I even read that one can actually water the plant with a mix of H.P. and water to kill the larvae. Then I noted seeing some knats around some of my phals, and what do I do? I spray the bark mix with the hydrogen peroxide mix. Just NOW I read that hydrogen peroxide will kill orchid roots!!! Now I'm worried I've done damage!! I've only spritzed a couple of times, but when will I see signs of my ignorant move??😣
