In agreement with you but it is that they have almost no roots in the substrate, they have been losing them little by little

Unless you are overwatering, it sounds like there is something wrong with your medium which needs to be addressed.

If you're careful not to damage the roots, I'd recommend just repotting them now to halt the root death you're seeing. Mine have all kept their flowers through the repotting process as long as I didn't accidentally cut off a live root. I bought a bunch of the 3" slotted orchid pots (Slotted Orchid Pots) for mini Phals I acquire that need new pots.

If yours are in the really flimsy plastic pots and you really want to wait to re-pot, I've had the in-pot roots do better for me when I punch a bunch of holes in the sides of the pot with a sharp pencil. If they're in a pot within a pot set-up, I also make sure that the pots aren't tightly nested in one another so that there's more air circulation.

Kellie's korner is one of many places you can get small clear pots for orchids. I Don't have any place locally to get these so I buy online. And I also add additional holes in the sides quite often for extra ventilation. My phals have lots of air roots and lots of "in pot" roots as well.
