If you're watering correctly for S/H (flushing at each watering) the dead roots will slowly rot and flush away through the media. It will actually help keep it stabilized in the LECA until the new roots are able to establish.

Oic... I don't think the dead roots will be flushed away from the two small holes in the pot

This is an extremely common issue when moving to S/H. Yes, they will decompose and with regular flooding type watering as S/H requires, it will flush through the pot with time.

If you attempt to keep unpotting, trimming dead roots, repotting, you are only stressing the plant.

You can find several discussions on this in the S/H forum section, at least a couple on the first page. Or use the "search" at top of forum menu, and search for S/H.rotten roots.
