There is a section on Growing on Mounts that will probably have what you are looking for. Orchids can grow on many different materials, so it will depend on what you have available, what you conditions are, and what kind of orchid you have.

Jason, Welcome to the Orchid Board!

I don't understand your question. Would you ask again? With different words?

Welcome to Orchidboard. It would be good for both of you to be a bit more specific.

Jayson, can you explain your question better?

Birdbrain, what, specifically, do you need help with or not understand?

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

There is a forum called "About this board" with some threads on how to do things. In the left yellow menu click on Forums, and you will see it at the top.

Hi Jayson! When we put an orchid on a board or a tree branch we say we mount it. The board or the branch is called the mount. We also call the board or branch with the orchid on it a mount.

People use any kind of wood that has a rough surface. It also needs to last a long time. Some wood rots too fast. You can use a board, which is wood sawed into flat pieces, or you can use a piece of tree branch.

It is easiest to use wood that grows near you. Oak wood works well. I think there are oaks in the mountains in the Philippines. Mango wood works well. I have mesquite wood. Here is a thread where I show how I tied a plant onto a mesquite branch. You can do the same thing with a board:
