I don't know if my orchid is HAPPY or sad. It has been in the same pot for 3 or 4 years. The air roots seem HAPPY there are a couple of leaves that are very sad, but it has always continued to blossom.
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Welcome. There is a thread here on this board in the upper portion of the page and it's called the "Phal abuse ends here." Read through that and it will give you quite a bit of information. It appears you have a phalaenopsis orchid. What medium is it potted in? How much light does it get? How often do you water it? There are many questions that would need to be answered before you will be able to get accurate advice-but my advice to you is to go to that thread first, and read through as many posts as you are willing to begin to learn about the orchid that you have. This is a wonderful board. Full of very very experienced Orchid Growers, and from my perspective, invaluable. 😊

I will say though that from what I can see it looks pretty good. The air Roots look like they are in a growing stage, with the green tips that I see. I would suggest repotting it ASAP.

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

To get to the thread mentioned above, click on Forums in the left menu, then Beginners, then look near the top in the sticky threads.

It's not a good idea to let Phalaenopsis orchids sit in water. It leads to the medium breaking down more rapidly. When the medium rots it turns mushy and prevents air from getting to the roots, which they really need.

Most of us repot every 2 years or so when growing in bark. The bark is getting bad by then.

Your plant should sail through repotting and continue growing just fine. But I would definitely repot soon.
