Red face Orchitop potting medium

Hello,
I'm new here, I have a few phalaenopsis, dendrobium and miltoniopsis orchids. I just got Orchitop pots and I am planning on repotting my orchids once their flowers are gone (hopefully not anytime soon). I'd like to get some opinions on what the best potting medium with Orchitop is. I did some research and I found out bark mix may dry out too soon in these pots so I'm thinking about using moss but I'm a bit (=very much) afraid of it. Currently all my orchids are in bark mix and they are doing fine, they have nice roots, they are growing new leaves and they all are in bloom. But I thought these pots are airy enough not to let the moss suffocate the plants and perhaps moss keeps enough moisture so I don't have to worry about them not getting enough moisture. I don't know I think I read somewhere orchids like sphagnum moss and I just want them to be happy and healthy, perhaps it is why I'm trying to talk myself into moss.
But I'm a beginner. Please tell me what you think
Thank you!

What you need to do is consider the needs of the individual plant, then discern how the potting medium, the container, your growing conditions (which will vary seasonally and with weather conditions, even indoors), and your desire/ability to care for them work together to provide for those needs.

Phalaenopsis, dendrobiums, and miltoniopsis have dissimilar requirements, so "one size" does not "it all".

It's what Ray said above with any kind of plant, not just orchids. It takes experience to figure out how to select a pot (size, material, how many holes) and medium for any plant.

If there is an orchid society near you, you can learn a lot from them.

For now I would recommend reading a lot about these different kinds of orchids. Most people who used the same pots and medium for these three kinds of orchids would water them very differently. The Miltoniopsis need to say moist. Many people recommend Phals dry out between waterings. And there are a lot of different Dendrobiums that need differing care.
