Thank you Merita. I appreciate your response in your photos. But I cannot help myself in regards to temperatures and why you have moved this phalaenopsis orchids into another room because of low Temps. It is so cold here in Vermont, that in order to get warm I have to open my refrigerator door and stand there! That's a joke. I thought it was funny because it's actually almost true.

I get that e s. But sometimes worrying about the little things keeps your mind off the bigger things. And as a way of emotional protection, it's a survival tactic in a way....

I enjoy your posts.

For Cattleyas and some other orchids, people often need to space the flowers a bit but I think your Phal is going to look absolutely beautiful! I am looking forward to blooming pictures!

I remember reading about somebody who lived in New Brunswick, Canada, just across the border from the US state of Maine.

A survey crew came through, examining the national border. A few days later a delegation from the nearest town in Maine knocked on his door, and informed him that, despite him believing he lived in Canada all these years, he was a resident of the US.

He responded, "Praise the Lord! I don't think I could take another Canadian winter!"

Greenpassion, these orchids live outside in a small greenhouse but there is a 3 day forecast with freezing and I had to pass them to the house. For some years we did not have a strong winter.

Thank you all for your replies. It puts my mind at ease. The trick is to keep it that way! All these new experiences with so many orchids in bloom keeps me on my toes with questions.
