Default Strange branching flower stalk?

A new stalk popped up on my phal NoID a few weeks ago and it looks really weird. The old stalk that broke off was just straight and the buds look a bit weird too.

Very normal. Phals branch all the time.

Just a sign of a stronger and more mature plant. Think of all the flowers you'll get.

Default normal

Phals are notorious for branching on their flower spikes.

I'd say that most of the time a branching spike is probably indicative of a healthier plant than a single spike, but I could be wrong.

Thanks all! I was just thinking it could be some sort of strange mutation because I have not seen a lot of phals in my life
