Where to purchase Neofinetia falcata (and what kind??)

I have a bunch of NOID fragrants and would like to get something with an ID, fragrant and a little smaller.

Neofinetia falcata is what I was looking into. New World Orchids is what I'm looking at for a seller right now. I just don't know all the nuances of care and appearance each variety they have.

This is a birthday present so I’m ok with it being more spendy than an Traders Joe’s phal haha

Anyone out there want to give me the low down on these lil pals?

Sorry. There's a whole cabal of Neofinetia fanatics here. In fact, there is an entire forum here devoted to taking care of Neofinetias. You can find it by going to the left menu, click on Forums, then scroll down to Vanda Alliance - Neofinetia. They're not hard to care for but they have a few requirements you must meet, and a few things you must avoid.

Edit: I would recommend getting an inexpensive one with no special features. Grow it for a year and make sure you can bloom it. Once you figure out how to grow a mutt, you can start looking for the expensive ones. Orchids by Hausermann has smaller, blooming-sized ones now for $17.50, but they won't ship until it warms up.
