Thank you all so much for your replies! When this plant is in full bloom I'll send a pic for sure!

I've found that if I crop off the bottom and top of my pics to make them more square, they don't get turned sideways

If you're using an iPhone, go to your photos, select the one you want to crop, and tap Edit in the upper right. On the Edit screen, tap the icon in the lower left that looks like a square with two arrows making a circle around it. From there, just drag the corners of the picture down/up until it is how you want it, and tap Done.

If you're using an Android, go to Google Photos, select the pic you want to edit, then tap the second icon from the left on the bottom (it's three little parallel horizontal lines, with a bar through each line. I think it's supposed to look like those little sliding knobs on recording equipment or something), which will bring up the edit screen. Tap on the square with two arrows making a circle around it, which is the last icon on the bottom right, then drag the corners of the picture until you have it how you want it, then tap Done.

If you're posting from a desktop or laptop computer, I don't know how to tell you to do it because there are so many different programs haha. But I hope I was helpful.

Yes I agree with the others. I have one doing this for the first time this year. But I have others that have done it. I like the branching.

At a desktop, before uploading your photos, open them in any image manipulation software. Rotate 90 degrees one way or the other. Save the image with the same filename. Now open it again and rotate it to the orientation it should have. Save it again. Now when you upload it, it will display properly.
