I have one Phal that gave me a single spike with a few flowers over the last half of summer. Those are all gone now, but lo and behold, it's growing another spike! Another one of my Phals is putting up a spike for the first time in about eighteen months.
Sounds like many of us are going to be enjoying flowers over the holidays.
