Ray,
So I don't want to set a nighttime minimum and a daytime minimum?

Correct. Set a nighttime minimum only.

Dewey7. Ray's advice is excellent. I follow the same principles. I have never had to worry about cold during the day time. In fact, even w/o a sunny day, here my porch stays warmer than I would have thought. You set a daytime minimum as you (hope) you have the heat from the sun and the house.
